Transfer Rumors

Its been a dark time for Arsenal and ever since our Carling Cup defeat to Birmingham, it has been all down hill for them since. The loss to Bolton sealed our fate and with the growing anger of fans its only a matter of time till something has to change.

Last night on Sky News Arsene Wenger came on and said that Cesc Fabregas is going no where next season, there are many that have been saying he can just leave already, but lets be real, he is amazing and if he stayed at Arsenal who would complain, I certainly wouldn't. Wenger also hinted that we had a transfer kitty of R40 million, all I can say is that I've heard this all before and whether Arsenal use it is another story. Also he indicated that there was a possibility of moving for some Real Madrid Players Namely Pepe and Benzema, that would be delightful as we need both players in that position.

There has also been talk of Diego Milito joining from Inter Milan and I have heard mixed responses to shit and I quote some have said he is 'shit'. I personally don't agree with that, he is a natural goal scorer and more importantly he is a 'fox in the box'. When Arsenal toss the ball into the middle or send the wizzing ball across the box, there is no one EVER there. Enter Milito, I think he would be great and would fit in perfectly with Arsenals style of play.

Thomas Vermaelen is back, oh yes finally, he has been out for basically the entire season and finally had his return to football with the Reserve match against Man United. the score was 0-0 on the night, but Vermaelen was the star performer on the night, dominate in the box, great passing and confident in going forward, my word how Arsenal and I have missed him. He may be the answer to our defensive problems, but I still think we need to sign players such as Gary Cahill and Per Mertesacker , hard men to play next to Thomas. Djourou has been great, but the match against Bolton exposed all his weaknesses and why we need to buy.

Lets just hope this is not just all talk but that Arsenal empty their pockets.
